SBR Plants

Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) is a sewage treatment plant. As the name suggests it treats sewage in sequence in a single tank. It is a fill-and-draw activated sludge system for wastewater treatment. In this system, wastewater is added to a single ‘batch’ reactor, treated to remove undesirable components, and then discharged. Equalization, aeration, and clarification can be achieved using a single batch reactor. To optimize the performance of the system, two or more batch reactors are used in a predetermined sequence of operations. SBR systems have been successfully used to treat both municipal and industrial wastewater. It is uniquely suited for wastewater treatment applications characterized by low or intermittent flow conditions. The treated sewage is of a quality that is ideal for reuse applications.

SBR plants – Single Tank Solution

Sequential Batch Reactor is a compact and efficient single batch reactor sewage treatment plant. It uses the fill-and-draw activated sludge system to produce consistently good quality treated sewage that can be reused. Equalization, aeration, and clarification can be achieved in a single batch reactor. It successfully treats municipal and industrial wastewater characterized by low or intermittent flow conditions. Potential Engineering offers a range of products for improved performance of SBR plants. Our product line comprises gates, screens, decanters, and gravity skimmers which are used at various stages of the treatment. The products are robust and effective. They are available in standard sizes and can be customized as per your requirement.
