Coalescer Oil Water Separator

Coalescer separators are deployed to separate small droplets of free-floating oil from effluent water. Small droplets which cannot be separated by other conventional separation methods can be intercepted by coalescer separators. Coalescer is a superior separation technology that forces two tiny droplets to ‘coalesce’ to form a giant droplet, producing excellent oil and water separation. A coalescer is an efficient oil-water separator incorporated with coalescing material that removes up to 95% floating oil from the water. The oleophilic coalescer filter traps oil particles down to 20 microns. The free-floating oil is skimmed using a suitable skimmer.

Coalescer Oil Water Separator Overview

Our Coalescer efficiently separates small droplets of oil from effluent water. Oil droplets of less than 20 microns are trapped in the coalescer to form a giant droplet that rises to the surface of the liquid. The free-floating oil on the top of the surface is removed by using a belt skimmer, slotted pipe skimmer or rotary skimmer.
