Floating Decanters

Floating decanters consist of a weir for decanting liquid supernatant and a float for buoyantly supporting the weir. The supernatant is removed from the top of tanks via floating decanters used in a variety of wastewater applications. Our decanter successfully prohibits suspended solids from entering the decanter during the non-decanting process in the SBR tank. The rate of decantation is controlled by an automatic valve or by a pump.

Floating Decanters: Cost-effective solution to withdraw clear liquid from SBR tank

The floating decanters manufactured at our facility are designed to draw treated supernatants from below the water surface (around 15"" to 18"") while preventing foam, scum, and solids from entering.
The Methods for eliminating foam, scum, and solids include
1. Air-filled decanters 2. Mechanically closed decanters and 3. With spring-loaded NRVs.
