Supernatant Decanter

Supernatant decanter is a floating type decanter. It is used to remove supernatants from the upper portion of the basin. It collects water from below the top surface of precluded foam, sludge, scum, or other floatable material. A standard open/close valve is used to control the decanter flow rate. No electro-mechanical component is used inside the tank, thus facilitating ease of operation and maintenance. To restrict the lower movement of the decanter a stand is provided at the bottom of the tank. A flexible joint helps in changing the position of the decanter with changes in liquid levels.
